A FIVE-STAR luncheon for two at the Village Tavern in Wake Forest University’s Reynolda Village, Winston-Salem. The service and food were excellent (see food photos), and dining outdoors was a real pleasure—complete with shade trees and a gentle springtime breeze. After lunch, we enjoyed a walk through Reynolda Gardens, Reynolda House, and the shops in the Village. A great daylong outing from Raleigh, topped off with an overnight stay at the Historic Brookstown Inn, just a short walk from Old Salem!

Nick is an amazing waiter. I had the Cobb salad & it was out of this world best I’ve had! My husband had shrimp and grits & we both had the crab dip. Cocktails are a lot to choose from & made perfectly. Great time & place we highly recommend

Wow this place is amazing !!! Stumbled upon this wonderful place and it exceeded all my expectations!! I wish I had one in my home town cause I would eat here all the time. I was only in town for 2 days and picked this place to eat dinner twice!! The first night we got fillet and veggies and it was out of this world cooked to perfection the next day. I got takeout from here and ask them to sub spaghetti squash for the blackened Alfredo pasta and they had no problem at all! Wonderful hard working staff! Can’t say enough good things about this place! Food is so yummy!!!!

Worth the hype! Everything was amazing. We had five in our party, traveling through from Virginia. Highly recommend the spring rolls, pimento cheese dip, and crab cake sandwich. Kiddo loved the fries, chicken tenders and homemade ranch.

We, 3 of us, decided to visit this Village Tavern. The parking could be tricky and the restaurant is smaller than the other Village Tavern in Winston-Salem. We were greeted when we walked up. We were seated outside as it was a beautiful day. Laura was our server and she took care of us. She was amazing, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! We ordered 2 Thai Chicken Salads and a Caesar Salad with Chicken. The salads were very favorable and delicious!! We were celebrating my friends birthday and she got the key lime pie! I have never had key lime pie. I tasted it and it was delicious and creamy with a hint of lime. Laura made our day special! Looking forward to coming back!

Stumbled upon this place in Reynolda Village and what a find. The food is outstanding! I had the Greek salad with grilled salmon; it was perfectly dressed and every bite was full of flavor including the grilled salmon with perfect char. Delicious! And raspberry sorbet for dessert because why not!?! I was seated at the busy bar during Sunday brunch in front of the kitchen window. The entire staff, from bar tenders, servers, chefs, management etc, are all happy and respectful towards one another. The vibe of the staff says everything about the restaurant…almost as important as the food. It was busy to say the least but all staff were getting the hard work done and joking along the way. Refreshing to see. I highly recommend this restaurant and have already been back during my short stay here. Their outdoor seating area is quite large too if it’s not too hot & humid out.

Service here is amazing, we had a party of 14 seated outside. Our servers were Boston and another tall man whose name escapes me. They were very attentive and pleasant. They were accommodating with all the little ones we had at the table as well. The food is typically excellent, at the table we had calamari, Italian sausage pizza, and various burgers. Not a single complaint. Overall good choice for a Winston Salem location. The vibe is special occasion Sunday dinner.
